What it does

This class determines the authenticated admin user from Adobe IMS (Identity Management System) bearer tokens in API request headers.

Developers use this to authenticate admin users making API calls when Adobe IMS integration is enabled, allowing Magento to identify which admin user is making the request based on their Adobe IMS token.
