What is purchasing power parity?

Last updated on September 2, 2024

Purchasing power parity (PPP) is a way to help make offerings more affordable to those living in countries with unfavorable exchange rates to that of the U.S.

These promos are a way to extend the reach of learning Magento to those living in countries with an unfavorable exchange rate to that of the U.S. We hope these promos help make learning Magento more accessible to those living in conditions out of their control.

If you live in a country that supports PPP, you will automatically see the appropriate pricing for your country.

Pricing for purchasing power parity promos are largely based on the Big Mac Index, though a few other considerations are also taken into account.

⛔ Please note that promo codes are only valid if the billing address country matches the country associated with the promo code.

Using a promo code with a non-matching billing address country will lead to an immediate refund & cancellation of enrollment and order.
