Every lesson has a stuck moment

You're mid-lesson, the example doesn't match what's on your screen, and the docs assume you already know the part you're stuck on. That happens to everyone learning Magento.

Maggie is the AI tutor built into every M.academy lesson.

She doesn't just know the lesson you're on. She answers from the whole M.academy course catalog and from staff replies to other students' comments, so a question that's already been answered somewhere else still gets answered here, fast.

Ask her anything about the lesson and she links the related lessons that cover it, across every course, in 183 languages.

I just love this lady. The answers are very specific and have code examples. She offers different types of answers, and they aren't even limited to the lecture material. Also excellent language localization. Thanks a lot!

She knows more than this lesson

Maggie sits inside the lesson chat, but she's not limited to it. Here's what she actually does when you ask her something:

Answers fast.
No long wait for a reply. Maggie keeps her thinking short, so you're back in the lesson in seconds.
Draws on staff answers.
She's read what staff already told other students in the comments, and gives you that answer too.
Answers in 183 languages.
Ask in your language and get it back the way you'd actually write it, synced with the lesson's captions for our 9 main languages.
Answers from any course.
Not limited to the lesson you're on. She pulls from the whole M.academy catalog to answer your question.
Links what to read next.
Every answer can point to the specific lessons, across other courses, where the topic is actually covered.
Quizzes you and grades it.
Click Quiz me and she'll ask a real question about the lesson, then tell you if you got it right, partly right, or wrong.

One explanation isn't always enough

Sometimes the lesson's own explanation doesn't land. Ask Maggie to say it a different way: a real-life comparison, or a short list of steps, without losing the thread of the conversation.

Simplify this for me
When an explanation is too dense, ask Maggie to break it down in plain language.
Summarize in a list
Turn a long answer into the short version: the steps, in order, without re-reading the whole thing.
Quiz me
Have Maggie quiz you on the lesson and grade each answer as right, partly right, or wrong, then asks the next one.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I access Maggie?
Once you're enrolled in a paid course or the University, every lesson page has a Maggie panel next to the video. Open it and start asking.
Is Maggie limited to the lesson I'm on?
No. She answers from any M.academy course or lesson, and she can draw on staff replies to other students' comments too. Outside Magento and the tools around it, her knowledge is limited: she's a specialist, not a generalist.
How can I get Maggie to talk in my preferred language?
Pick your language from the dropdown in the chat panel. Maggie answers in that language, and the lesson's video captions switch with her. If yours isn't in the list of 183, tell us and we'll look into adding it.
Do you keep my chat history?
Yes. Your conversations are saved, so you can pick one back up from the history menu in the chat panel, even from a different lesson. Chats are never made public, and they may be used to improve Maggie.
Does Maggie cost extra?
No. Maggie is included with every paid course and with the University. No extra charge, no separate plan.
