Overview of Crack the Claude Code

Hey, I'm Mark Shust, and welcome to the Crack the Claude Code course.

If you've been curious about Claude Code but haven’t really committed to using it yet, or maybe you've tried it a few times but it didn't quite click… then this course is for you.

I’ve noticed that a lot of developers know Claude Code exists. They've probably seen it talked about in articles and on social media, and maybe they've even installed and played around with it for a bit.

But then they hit a wall.

Maybe it felt overwhelming. Maybe they weren't sure if they could trust the code it was generating. Or maybe they just didn't know how to make it part of their actual daily workflow.

So they go back to coding the old way, and Claude Code just sits there, installed but unutilized.

This course is designed to get you past that wall.

By the end of this course, you'll be able to confidently use Claude Code for real work. You'll know how to verify the code it generates, avoid common pitfalls, and even have it set up in a way that actually makes your development faster, and more enjoyable.

I’m not going to overwhelm you with every advanced feature right out of the gate. We're going to learn all of the foundations of Claude Code first, and in a logical order that actually makes sense.

Now, this course is for developers who’ve got a few years under their belt, are comfortable with the terminal, and are ready to really level up their workflow with AI-assisted coding.

This is NOT a course on the Claude Code SDK, or building custom MCPs, or advanced multi-agent orchestrations. This course is about getting you to the point where Claude Code is part of your daily workflow, and you trust it enough to use it for production code.

Each lesson in this course is just a few minutes long, and covers exactly one concept. I also organized the curriculum very specifically so you’ll never be overwhelmed from a term or technique that you’ve never heard of. That said, I recommend watching through the whole course, and then jumping back to specific topics once you understand all that Claude Code has to offer.
